Just because schools have started and summer vacations have ended, doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. We’ve put together a list of September festivals and events that will keep the summer vibes flowing a bit longer.
Silicon Valley Fall Festival

Lafayette Art & Wine Festival

Santa Clara Art & Wine Festival

Almaden Art & Wine Festival:
September 16, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Almaden Lake Park, corner of Almaden Expressway and Coleman Avenue, San Jose. Food and wine, entertainment, silent auction, and children’s zone. www.almadenwine.org
Santa Cruz County Fair:
September 12- 16
County Fairgrounds, 2601 E. Lake Ave., Watsonville. Carnival rides, livestock, food, merchants, races, music performances, art and children’s activities. www.santacruzcountyfair.com
Luna Park Chalk Art Festival:
September 15, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Bark in the Park:
September 15, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Monterey Jazz Festival:
September 23 and September 23
Monterey County Fair and Event Center, 2004 Fairground Road, Monterey. The 61st annual festival, with 500 artists performing on eight stages. Tickets and information: www.montereyjazzfestival.org
Bay Area Blues Festival:
September 23 and September 23, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Antique Autos in History Park:
September 23, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Pacific Coast Fog Fest:
September 29 and September 30, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
